As part of the 2024 Academic Recognition, the Medical Devices and Pharmaceuticals Cluster awarded four scholarships to outstanding students from the Instituto Tecnológico de Santo Domingo (INTEC), as part of its commitment to developing talent in STEM careers.

This award continues the recognition granted to INTEC last year for its role as a strategic ally of the sector, highlighting its contribution to the preparation of highly qualified professionals.

As part of the experience, the students toured the facilities of Baxter Healthcare, where they learned firsthand about its operations and the products manufactured there, gaining exposure to the industry’s real-world environment.
