The Technical Education Committee of the Medical Devices and Pharmaceutical Cluster impacted 1,895 secondary- and university-level students through a series of talks in which opportunities within the sector were shared. The following institutions participated in these initiatives: Colegio ABC, Colegio Calasanz, Colegio Triumphare, Juan González Polytechnic School, Haina Polytechnic Institute, Loyola Polytechnic Institute, Padre Zegri Polytechnic School, Padre Bartolomé Vegh Salesian Polytechnic School, Salesian Technical Institute, ITLA, Osvaldo Báez Polytechnic School, INTEC, PUCMM, Instituto Especializado de Estudios Superiores Loyola, UNAPEC, UCE, O&M, and UASD.
Member companies of the Cluster—Accumed, Arjo, Baxter, B. Braun, BD APM, Cardinal Health, Convatec, DeRoyal, Fresenius Kabi, Jabil, LG H&H, Laboratorios Rowe, Microtek, and Remington Medical—hosted these secondary- and university-level students at their facilities. During the tours, students had the opportunity to learn more about the medical devices industry in the country, its products, and the professional development opportunities it offers.
