SANTO DOMINGO.- The Cluster’s Education Committee hosted a series of impact talks on the diverse opportunities the Medical and Pharmaceutical Devices industry has for their professional development. These talks attracted over 100 graduating students from the following schools: Calasanz de Santo Domingo, ABC School and Babeque Secundaria. Mr. Rafael Piantini, Technical Coordinator of Education of the Cluster, alongside representatives of Fresenius Kabi, Convatec and Edwards Lifesciences, member companies of the Cluster, and graduates of these schools showcased the cluster’s purpose and functions, as well as general information about the medical devices industry and its development in the country.
These impact presentations serve as a motivational propellant for students in their final school years, to spark interest on the areas of study focused on the development and manufacturing of medical devices.
