The Medical Devices & Pharmaceuticals Cluster gave one of its impact talks to 100 students from Politécnico Eugenio Maria de Hostos, as part of the Avanza program from the Instituto Tecnológico de Las Américas (ITLA). This talk had the objective of encouraging young people to join STEM careers, specifically in the Medical Device Manufacturing Technologist program taught at the ITLA.
These programs are key to the medical devices industry’s growth in the country and at the same time help develop and train young professionals for the industry.
