Commemorating the 30th anniversary of ADOZONA last Thursday, August 9, the Cluster of Medical Devices participated in the launch of the Certification in Manufacture of Medical Devices, to be taught by the Center for Continuing and Executive Education (EXAE) of the Dominican University O&M.
During the activity, personalities from the academy, executives from different companies that make up the Cluster, ADOZONA, the National Council of Free Zones, students and graduates from the different engineering departments of the university were present.
José Manuel Torres, Executive Vice President of the Association, addressed introductory words to those present and highlighted the importance of this initiative and the excellent opportunities that Free Zones offer for professional development of young Dominicans.
For his part, Rafael Piantini, Education Coordinator of the Medical Devices Cluster, spoke about the value of the Medical Devices Cluster and the work that the cluster is doing to promote the development of human capital necessary to achieve the competitiveness of the sector.
After the welcoming remarks, those presents were invited to participate in the exhibition of the medical device companies, who showed their products and encouraged participants to take the certification and learn more about this subsector of Free Zones.
The companies that were exhibiting during the activity were: Fresenius Kabi, Edwards, B. Braun, Rowe, Becton Dickinson, Cardinal Health, Oscor, Itabo Industrial Park S.A. (PIISA), Las Américas Industrial Park (ZFLA), National Council of Free Zones (CNZFE) and ADOZONA.
