The Education Technical Committee of the Medical Devices and Pharmaceuticals Cluster impacted over 1,600 high school and university students through a series of talks, where information about opportunities in the sector was shared. The following institutions were part of this initiative: INTEC, PUCMM,UNPHU,UNIBE, UNAPEC, UCE, O&M, Instituto Especializado de Estudios Superiores Loyola, Politécnico Juan González, Politécnico César Nicolás Penson, Instituto Politécnico de Haina, Colegio ABC, Colegio Cristiano Logos, Colegio Fernando Arturo Meriño, Liceo Experimental O&M y Colegio AI UCE.
Member companies of the Cluster, including AccuMed by Lear, Baxter, B.Braun, Convatec, DeRoyal, Ecolab, Edwards Lifesciences, Fresenius Kabi, Jabil, LG H&H, Medsorb, and Medtronic, welcomed these high school and university students at their facilities. During their visits, the students had the opportunity to learn more about the medical devices industry in the country, its products, and the professional development opportunities it offers.
