The Medical Devices and Pharmaceuticals Cluster visited the Instituto Politécnico de Haina, where it held a meeting with 150 students currently pursuing technical careers focused on: Electricity, Accounting, Industrial Mechanics, Computer Science, Electronics, and Refrigeration.
This meeting, led by Rafael Piantini, Technical Education Coordinator of the cluster, with the participation of Mariela Lantigua, HR Director at Edwards Lifesciences and Ann Sánchez, Senior HR Manager at Accumed Group, helped to inform students about the medical devices industry development in the country, as well as the professional growth opportunities that the sector offers for technicians like themselves.
