The Technical Education Committee impacted over 664 high school and university students through a series of talks that shared information about opportunities in the sector. The following institutions were part of these initiatives: Politécnico César Nicolás Penson, Colegio ABC, Instituto Politécnico de Haina, Colegio Cristiano Logos, Colegio Fernando Arturo Meriño, Politécnico Juan González, Colegio AI UCE, Instituto Especializado de Estudios Superiores Loyola, INTEC, UNIBE, PUCMM, UNPHU, and UNAPEC.
Member companies of the Cluster, including Edwards Lifesciences, B. Braun Medical, Accumed by Lear, Jabil, LG H&H, Fresenius Kabi, Baxter Healthcare, Convatec, Medtronic, ECOLAB, and Medsorb Dominicana, welcomed these high schools and university students to their facilities. During their visits, the students had the opportunity to learn more about the medical device industry in the country, its products, and the professional development opportunities it offers.
